What you’ll do:
Develop and execute strategy and tactics for deep penetration into the logistics industry (primary targets: large truck fleet operators and workforce management opportunities)
Identify and develop a sales pipeline. Your personal network and industry knowledge will be very important to having success along with business development tools provided by BoldIQ.
Once qualified prospects are identified, move them through a sales process that will include numerous virtual and in-person meetings. Qualified prospects should be moved towards a proof of concept and lead customers on this journey.
Maintain and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
Support the development of sales collateral for targeted sectors and opportunities.
Develop and maintain the relationships needed for initial success and continuous development of customers.
Participate in relevant trade shows and events
Set realistic stretch but achievable targets
Support a strong collaborative team structure between sales and product development.
Become an expert user of demos. Understand and appreciate our customers’ point of view.
Assist, support, train and educate others.
Bachelors/MBA with 10+ years of experience selling and developing business into targeted sectors.
You’ll likely have FTL/LTL experience in one or more areas: truck brokerage, global freight forwarding, for hire or private fleet operations, larger 3PL/intermodal company.
Deep understanding of business drivers in targeted sectors as well as knowledge of optimal places to position BoldIQ
